8th Lady Mules vs.
Friona (2-8-2016)
The eighth grade Lady Mules
fell 27-11 to the Friona Maidens Monday evening. The Maidens scored 21 points
in the first half and cruised for the win.
Emili Mora scored the Lady
Mules on two points in the first period. Anahi Sandoval and Destiny Vasquez
each made a hoop in the second period. Joceline Ramirez chipped in a free throw
before the intermission. The Lady Mules trailed 21-7 at the half.
Friona shut out the Lady
Mules in the third quarter. Mora scored to start the final quarter and Vasquez
dropped in the Lady Mules final hoop.
Mora and Vasquez led the Lady
Mules with four points each. Sandoval added two points and Ramirez chipped in
one point.
