Jr-High C-C Meet @ Abernathy (10-11-2014)

Times were not available for the Antelope Cross-Country Meet in Abernathy Saturday for the junior high competition. But the Mules placed first as a team with Damian Juarez placing second.

Eduardo Pantoja was close behind in third place, Jose Nava finished fifth and Beto Mendoza crossed the finish line in in sixth place. Ricky Diaz ran ninth and Jacob Barron was thirteenth.

The Lady Mules placed third in the team competition with Liliana Martinez leading the way in third place. Jocelyn Ramirez crossed the finish line in ninth place.

“Our kids really ran well and are learning to set a pace and stay with it around the course,” said junior high cross-country coach, Jalissa King. “We are looking forward to putting everything we have learned on the line in our district meet on the Mae Simmons Park course in Lubbock. We will run about 3:30 in the afternoon.”
