9^th Lady Mules vs. Dimmitt (1-5-2015)

The freshmen Lady Mules returned the favor Monday night by bouncing the Dimmitt Bobbies out of the gym in Dimmitt 50-7. The win evened the Lady Mule record at 6-6.

The Lady Mules out scored the Bobbies of Dimmitt 16-0 in the opening period. The second quarter was not much different as the Lady Mules dropped in 13 points to only four by the Bobbies. The Lady Mules led 29-4 at the intermission.

The Lady Mules went a little flat in the third quarter but still managed to ease past the Bobbies 4-3 and led 33-7 with one period left to play. The Lady Mules made up for it in the final period by pumping in 17 points while holding Dimmitt to no points.

Cassidy Cage set the scoring pace with 11 points during the game. Brianna Barron finished with nine points. Lily Barrera and Alexis Campos added eight points each.

The Lady Mules traveled to Littlefield Monday to play the Lady Cats. The Lady Mules return home to host the Friona Maidens January 19 in the new Muleshoe High School Gym. The Lady Mules will finish their season on the road.
