7^th Mules vs. Littlefield (1-11-2016)

The seventh grade Mules found themselves in a tough game Monday afternoon when the Littlefield Wildcats came to town. The Mules could not find the basket in the first period nor in the third quarter.

Littlefield defeated the young Mules 44-8.

Victor Velasquez put back and offensive rebound with midway through the second period for the Mules first two points. Mario Guardado followed that making a steal and driving the floor for a lay up. The Mules trailed 29-4 at the half.

The Mules fell silent until the fourth period when Garrison Bohler hit from the elbow. Riley Kettner stuck back an offensive rebound for the Mules’ final two points of the game.

Velasquez, Guardado, Bohler and Kettner chipped in two points each.

The Mules hosted the Friona Braves Monday night and will travel to Tulia January 25. The Mules return home January 28-30 when they help host the Muleshoe Invitational Tournament.
