All-State choir audition results
This past weekend Muleshoe High School choir took four students to Abilene for the final round of all-State choir auditions. Thousands of students across the state audition for the first rounds of the all-state choir process. Our students involved at the final round have learned seven difficult pieces of music and began their work in August.
Chris Barber, Autumn
Gutierrez and Will Wauson had been named alternates to the final round of
auditions. These three students were not called up to audition on Saturday, but
were prepared for the audition and worked very hard to get
there.
Chris Flores
auditioned on Saturday and made the 2016 TMEA All-State Choir. He will travel to
San Antonio February 10-13 to work with a world renowned choral conductor and
sing in this ensemble. Be sure to tell Chris congrats on the hard work he put in
to earn his spot in the choir. The TMEA All-State choir performs on Saturday,
February 13 at 2pm in the Hemisfair Ballroom at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention
Center in San Antonio.
