JV Mules vs. Kermit

The JV Mules made the long
trip to Kermit to battle the Yellow Jackets Thursday evening. The Mules
dominated the contest and rolled up 478 yards of offense with 406 yards coming
on the ground and 70 through the air.
The Mules scored 52 points
while shutting out the Yellow Jackets.
Jose Angel Mendoza rushed 10
times for 227 yards that include touchdowns from 62 and 36 yards out. Jesse
Easiley rushed eight times for 95 yards and a five-yard touchdown. Evan Paez
carried six times for 60 yards and 12-yard touchdown.
Aaryn Ross caught six passes
for 48 yards, a 14 yard touchdown catch and scored on a 24-yard touchdown run.
Mario Flores made three catches for 24 yards and an eight yard touchdown
reception.
Mario Flores made nine
tackles with one being for a loss. Donavan Gutierrez made five tackles, Bryce
Mauricio made four stops, Jose Angel Mendoza had four tackles with one being
for a loss and one sack and Brandon Chavez had four stops.
Tim Perez made a 19 yard
fumble return, Aaryn Ross intercepted one pass and Evan Paez returned an
interception 33 yards.
The Mules will take a week
off before hosting the River Road Wildcats in their district opener.
