JV Lady Mules vs. Bushland
(3-10-15)
The JV Lady Mules literally
went down swinging against the Bushland Lady Falcons Tuesday evening. Twelve
Lady Mules stuck out in the 13-1 loss to Bushland.
Three base hits resulted in
two runs in the top of the first inning for the Falcons and the Lady Mules
could not answer. Bushland scored two more runs in the top of the third inning
on three hits to lead the Lady Mules 4-0.
The Falcons scored five runs
in the fourth inning and four in the seventh inning.
Haley Hunt took the count
full as the lead off batter in the bottom of the sixth inning. She fouled off
two pitches before drawing a walk. Hunt stole second base and Joely Melendez
sacrificed her to third base.
Yvonne Diaz slammed a triple
to right field to score Hunt and the Lady Mule’s only run.
The Lady Mules hosted the
Clovis Lady Cats Tuesday evening and will play the Frenship Lady Tigers
Thursday afternoon at 2:00 PM.
