Jr High Cross Country-District Meet (10-18-2016)

The Mule junior high cross-country team won the 2016 District 1-3A Meet on the modified three-mile course in Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock Tuesday. Two of the Mules won individual medals. 

Brandon Ramirez set the pace for the Mules with a bronze medal time of 13 minutes and 7.47 seconds. Josh Estraca earned the tenth place medal with a time of 14:02.87. 

The Lady Mule junior high team earned the team silver on the two-mile modified Mae Simmons Park course with a total of 39 points and were just six points out of first place.

Kylee Villa earned the individual silver medal with a time of 14:19.54. Anzley Rodriguez won the fifth place medal with a time of 15:20.71. Kayla Soto finished seventh with a time of 15:27.78. 

The Lady Mules will now start basketball practice.
