7th Lady Mule Track @ Olton (2-23-2017)

 

The seventh-grade Lady Mules won the Olton Junior High Winter Relays with 183 points. Friona placed second with 88 points, Sundown took third with 87 points, and Olton finished fourth with forty points. Springlake-Earth scored 14 points, Farwell and Bovina tied for sixth and seventh with 10 points each, and Ralls placed eighth with five points.

 

Kylee Villa and Alina Elizarraraz kick-started the Lady Mules by winning the gold and silver medals respectively in the 2400-meter run. Villa ran a time of nine minutes 34 seconds. Elizarraraz timed in at 10:12.00. Marisela Lozano made a silver medal heave in the shot put of 25 feet and a half inch.

 

Yurtizi Rodriguez made a silver medal throw in the discus of 55-04. Yartiza Lopez earned the bronze medal with a throw of 54-09. Makayla Toscano placed fifth with a toss of 51-11.5.

 

Natalie Ambriz won the bronze medal in the long jump with a leap of 13-06. Kayla Soto placed fourth with a jump of 12-03. Paige Parker won the gold medal in the triple jump with a total distance of 26-04.5.

 

Ambriz soared to a gold medal in the high jump with a leap of 4-06. Elizarraraz leaped to a bronze medal with a jump of 4-00. The Lady Mule 4x100-meter relay team ran a gold medal time of 2:40.72.

 

Villa ran a gold medal time of 2:40.72 in the 800-meter run. Brianna Barraz earned the bronze medal with a time of 3:04.61. Pricilla Cortez won the gold medal in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 20.48. Kaitlynn Hart took the bronze medal with a time of 22.10. Jimena Fullen finished fifth with a time of 24.33.

 

Valeria Cruz placed fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 14.97. The Lady Mule 4x200-meter relay team ran a gold medal time of 2:00.20. Genesis Vasquez earned the gold medal in the 400-meter run with a time of 1:11.31. Ava Miller ran a bronze medal time of 1:15.55.

 

Elizarraraz won the gold medal in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 1:01.68. Hart placed fifth with a time of 1:03.24. Fullen finished sixth with a time of 1:08.65.
