8th Lady Mule Track @ Olton (2-23-2017)

 

The eighth-grade Lady Mules earned the team bronze in the Olton Junior High Winter Relays with 96 total points. Friona won the meet with 109 points, Sundown placed second 98 points, and Farwell took four with 80 points. Ralls finished fifth with 33 points, Olton took sixth with 24 points, Bovina placed seventh with 21 points, and Springlake-Earth was eighth with four points.

 

Anzley Rodriguez grabbed the Lady Mules first gold medal in the 2400-meter run with a time of 10 minutes 16.00 seconds. Prisila Medina earned the bronze medal with a time of 11:00.00 and Kristina Arzola placed fifth with a time of 11:38.00.

 

Jazzy Sanchez made a bronze medal throw of 28 feet two inches in the shot put. Carina Sianez placed fourth with a toss of 27-04. Arzola placed fourth in the discus with a throw of 64-06. Anahi Barrera placed fourth in the long jump with a leap of 13-05.00.

 

Aliyah Regalado had a bronze medal distance in the triple jump of 25-05.5. Melissa Madero placed fifth with a distance of 25-00.5. Danielle Moran and Barrera placed fifth and sixth respectively in the high jump with each clearing 4-04.

 

The Lady Mule 4x100-meter relay team ran a silver medal time of 57.68. Heather Chavez finished sixth in the 800-meter run with a time of 3.00.04. Regalado placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 22.19. Madero placed sixth with a time of 23.27.

 

The Lady Mule 4x200-meter relay team placed fifth with a time of 2:08.70. Barrera ran a bronze medal time of 1:12.28 in the 400-meter dash. Heather Chavez placed fourth with a time of 1:16.61.

 

Regalado earned the silver medal in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 1:06.02. Madero placed fourth with a 1:08.53 and Destiny Florez took sixth with a 1:10.69.
