7th Mules Track @ Olton (2-23-2017)
The seventh-grade Mules finished sixth in the Olton Junior High Winter Relays with 23 points. Friona won the meet with 158 points, Sundown placed second with 100 points, Springlake-Earth finished third with 59 points, and Olton was fourth with 54 points.
Farwell placed fifth with 45 points, Ralls finished seventh with 17 points, and Bovina was eighth with nine points.
Alex Regalado placed sixth in the shot put with a heave of 25 feet five inches. Jacob Reyes earned the Mules first medal. He made a bronze medal throw of 65-06 in the discus.
The Mule 4x100-meter relay team place sixth with a time of 57.75 seconds. The Mule 4x200-meter relay team won the bronze medal with a time of 1:57.92. Yexon Ayala placed fifth in the 400-meter dash with a time 1:08.61.
