7th Lady Mules Track @ Littlefield (3-3-2016)

The seventh grade Lady Mule track team opened their 2016 track season on the road in Littlefield. The Lady Mules placed third with a team total of 122 points. Shallowater won the meet with 169 points and Levelland placed second with 125 points. Brownfield was fourth with 100 points, Littlefield finished fifth with 44 points and Idalou was sixth with 41 points.

Carina Sianez won the bronze medal in the shot put with a throw of twenty-seven feet one inch. Kristina Arzola earned the bronze medal in the discus with a throw of 50-3. Katelyn Kelley finished fifth in the pole vault with a height of 5-0.

Tatum Hasley placed fifth in the long jump with a leap of 12-8. Jordan Zapata was sixth in the triple jump with a distance of 25-02.5.

Anzley Rodriguez earned the silver medal in the first race of the day with a time of 10 minutes and 06.11 in the 2400-meter run. Prisila Medina won the bronze medal in the 2400-meter run with a time of 10:26.78. Alondra Nunez finished fifth in the 2400 with a time of 11:04.14.

The Lady Mule 400-meter relay team of Tatum Hasley, Danielle Moran, Katelyn Kelley and Anahi Barrera earned the bronze medal with a time of 57.84. Kristina Arzola won the silver medal in the 800-meter run with a time of 4:54.15. The Lady Mule 800-meter relay team of Jordan Zapata, Danielle Moran, Grace Leal and Kristina Arzola placed fourth with a time of 2:08.21.

Anahi Barrera won the gold medal in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:04.16 and Alyssa Flores took the bronze medal in the 400 with a time of 1:13.65. Jordan Zapata earned the bronze medal in the 200-meter dash with a time of 31.33.

Anzley Rodriguez had a gold medal time of 6:14.63 in the 1600-meter run. Prisila Medina was just steps behind in the 1600-meter run for the silver medal with a time of 6:31.91. Alondra Nunez placed fourth in the 1600 with a time of 6:52.62.

The Lady Mule 1600-meter relay team of Kristina Arzola, Jordan Zapata, Tatum Hasley and Anahi Barrera won the silver medal with a time of 4:50.07.

The Lady Mules traveled to Levelland Tuesday to run in the Lobo Invitational Meet and will travel to Dimmitt March 22.
