MHS Golf @ Farwell (3-8 &
10)
The Muleshoe High School golf
teams competed in Farwell Invitational Golf Tournaments this past week. The
Lady Mules took the course on Tuesday and the Mules followed on Thursday.
The Lady Mules finished
second out of seven teams. Sadie Sudduth won the individual silver medal to
lead the Lady Mules with 95 strokes. Sydnie Sudduth finished with 112 shots, Emily
Precure used 116 shots and Leti Loya finished with 142 strokes.
The Mules hit the Farwell
Country Club Course on Thursday and Conner Harrison won the individual silver
medal. He finished just two strokes over par with 74 strokes. Tony Castillo
completed the course with 99 strokes, Cameron Hardwick shot a 131, and Brendon
Rodriguez needed 136 shots.
The Lady Mules and Mules will
travel to the Amarillo Comanche Trail Golf Course March 22 for their final
tournament before starting district competition in Muleshoe and Dimmitt March
28.
