7th Mules vs. Shallowater (11-3-2016)
The seventh-grade Mules made the bus trip to Shallowater Thursday to battle the Colts. It was a battle for all 32 minutes of the contest.
Juan Nava scored on a one-yard dive for the Mules only points. The
lost the final game of the season to finish the year with a record of
3-9. Shallowater won the game 14-6.
Jeremiah Barron led the Mules in rushing with 76 yards. Nava ran for 28 yards and one touchdown.
Jeremiah Barron led the Mule defense with six tackles. Evan Lopez and Josh Estraca finished the night with five tackles each.
A big defensive play was when Juan Zacarias intercepted a Colt pass.
The Mules will now turn their sights indoors and start working on their basketball game.
