7th Lady Mules @ District Track (4-9-2015)

The seventh Lady Mules won the team bronze in the District 2-3A Track Meet with 95 points. Shallowater and Littlefield finished ahead of the Lady Mules and Friona, Tulia and Dimmitt trailed behind. 

Jillian Rojas had a silver medal toss of 29 feet two and half inches in the shot put. Abigail Reyes placed fourth and Mia’Kayla Reyna took sixth with throws of 26-11.50 and 25-00.50 respectively. 

Joceline Ramirez ran a silver medal time of 10 minutes and 35 second in the 2400-meter run. Valeria Carrreaga finished fourth in the 2400-meter run with an 11:10.00. Reyes earned the bronze medal in the discus with a throw of 62-11.00 and Rojas was fifth with a distance of 53-02.00.

Mercedes Manzanales placed fifth in the triple jump with a distance of 25-06.00. Perla Vasquez, Reyes, Arcely Mendoza and Chloe Villa placed fifth in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 59.55.

Valerie Toscano finished sixth in the 800-meter run with a time of 3:04.03. Reyna was fifth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 20.66. Vasquez, Mendoza, Emili Mora and Villa ran a silver medal time of 2:04.80 in the 4x200-meter relay. 

Reyna finished sixth in the 400-meter dash with a 1:22.52. Mora won the Lady Mules’ only gold medal with a 28.44 in the 200-meter dash. Carreaga ran a bronze medal time of 6:36.40 in the 1600-meter run. 

Mora, Villa, Ramirez and Vasquez won the bronze medal in the 4x400-meter relay with a 4:51.59.
