Lady Mules @ Mule Relays (3-3-2017)

The Lady Mules earned the team bronze Friday afternoon in the Mule Relays with 84.5 points. Shallowater won the Mule Relays with 141 points, Idalou was second with 138.5 points, and Post was fourth with 80 points. Slaton placed fifth with 65 points, Littlefield took sixth with 57 points, and Dimmitt finished seventh with 53 points. 

Lili Martinez ran a silver medal time of 13 minutes 42.46 second in the 3200-meter run. Sophie Reyna placed sixth in the shot put with a toss of 30 feet two inches. Keely Dunham made a six place throw in the discus of 97-09. 

Joy Watts placed fourth in the high jump with a leap of 4-10. Perla Vasquez tied for the bronze medal with a vault of 6-6 in the pole vault. Joceline Ramirez cleared 6-0 in the pole vault for fifth place. 

The 4x100-meter relay team of Reina Regalado, Emili Mora, Dunham, and Kyndal Miller placed fifth with a time of 53.84. Watts placed sixth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.71. 

Natali Elizalde finished fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.41, and R. Regalado tied for fifth with a time of 13.72. The 4x200-meter relay team of Mora, Miller, Watts and Mireya Ruvalcaba ran a bronze medal time of 1:54.72. 

R. Regalado ran a bronze medal time of 1:06.85 in the 400-meter dash. Elizalde won the bronze medal in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.31. Dunham placed fourth in the 200- with a 28.62 and Vasquez placed sixth with a 29.81. 

Martinez won the gold medal in the 1600-meter run with a time of 6:04.66 and Valeria Carreaga placed fifth with a 6:38.53. The 4x400-meter relay team of Mora, M. Ruvalcaba, Watts, and Miller ran a bronze medal time of 4:26.15. 

The Lady Mules will compete in the Shallowater Relays Thursday, March 9.
