Lady Mules Golf @ Tulia (3-4-14)
The Lady Mule golf team took on all comers Tuesday in the Tulia
Invitational Golf Tournament. The Lady Mules emerged on top of the heap after
completing the 18 holes of competition.
“There were eight teams and 60 golfers competing today,” said Lady Mule
golf coach Carey Sudduth. “The Lady Mules opened their season and finished as
team champions. Lariat Adams was the individual winner with a score of
80.”
“Please congratulate these girls when you see them as they played like
winners today.”
Lariat Adams was the individual champion with a total of 80 shots. She also
led the Lady Mules in their team championship bid. Sadie Sudduth finished the
day with a very respectable 109 strokes.
Sydnie Sudduth was just two shots behind her sister with a total of 111
strokes. Bailey Bales finished the day with a total of 112 shots. Emily Precure
rounded out the team with a round of 135.
The Lady Mules next outing will be in Friona March 18.
